Fair Voting BC is a non-profit, non-partisan society formed by concerned citizens from all political persuasions for the purpose of changing BC’s voting system to one that is more proportional, giving equal weight to all votes.
Founding members of Fair Voting BC worked to initiate the Citizens Assembly process and campaigned to convince the government to appoint a Citizens Assembly.
Now it is our goal that British Columbians will support the referendum by an informed choice. To that end, Fair Voting BC will disseminate correct and helpful information, and foster public discussion and debate from now until May 2009.
